my dog took a long time to get potty trained! the way i did it was when she went. we knew where she would go again! ( in the same spot!)

so next time when she had to go, we put a potty pad down for her and the next time she had to go, she went on that.
after a couple of days/ maybe 2 weeks, we started moveing it closer to the door and then when she got to the door, we had made her a doggy door and when she saw the potty pad outside, she went outside and went on it!
a couple of weeks went by and we got rid of the potty pads. then she got used to going out side!!! then we didnt have to keep spending money on pads!!!


but i have one question. if i ever get another puppy, does anyone know how to get her/ him potty traind quicker
so we dont have to keep spending more money on potty pads?
